Kyndall

Kyndall feeding her baby doll.  Was so glad to get her today.  We played all day ( at least it felt like it). I try to buy new toys every now and then and put them in toy box.  This girl will find the new toys every single time.  No matter if it’s a boy or girl item.  Just surprises me that she knows it’s new.
After Christmas I hope to buy a few more toys especially with them growing older.  Need to keep age appropriate toys for all littles.  Can’t believe Clifford and Kyndall will be 4 years old in 2023.  Time has marched by so fast!  M

Time to start decorating for Christmas

Time to get My cubicle decorated.  This will not be the finished look.  Just what I had on hand. I think I will bring some cute and inexpensive gnome items to put up for Christmas.
So our company bought everyone a stocking to decorate.  So ran to Dollar Tree and grabbed a few items.  It’s all about being a “TEAM” player.
Decorating my cubicle brings me happiness.  I don’t spend much money and I always like the outcome  of how I decorated.
Our company had a stocking competition and I actually won 1st place.  I like the simple crafts that I create.  On the stocking I basically just glued my items on it.  Just needed items that I wanted to use.

Selfie with Lane

I try to do a selfie with my littles quite often. Lane really wasn’t feeling it today.  But we still got the picture taken.  My grandchildren make my life complete.
Did everyone have a good Thanksgiving?  We went to Alisha and Jonathan’s Thanksgiving evening.  Then on November 20th I went to Blake and Jessica’s to celebrate early.  Blake had to get back to work for the week.  He works out of state.

Headed to Galveston Texas

Aaron and I excited to be leaving on vacation.

It’s Lonestar Biker weekend!  One year I plan on just spending the weekend as a attendee for the rally. My   BFF Cherrie and I talked about it for several years. We just need to make it a reality. So yes this is on my bucket list.  It’s about time for me to updat y bucket list as it has been many years since I made my last one.  Several items on my last list are no longer as important as I once thought.
For me going on a road trip is always exciting. I have always loved going to Galveston Texas.  There is no way I could even tell you how many trips I have made to Galveston.  It will be forever my favorite get away.  It’s comfortable to me.  Do you have a favorite place to escape to every so often?

Halloween from our son and grandchildren

Lane is super cute in Buzz Lightyear costume

Landon rocking the Woody outfit.

Brody and Savannah even dressed up for Halloween.  They are so cute!
You know Papa and Nana made treat bags for all 9 grandchildren.  Was so thankful they brought the littles out to see us before they went trick or treating.
For what ever reason I was never a costume type person.  But as I have gotten older I have bought a Super Woman costume and have wore it on my Halloween cruises.

Last cookout for summer

Oh my goodness these steaks was so very good!  We also had hamburgers, hot links and smoked sausage to go with the steaks.  We always tend to cook way more than we should. Which means that we can have leftovers for several days.

Baked beans was a big hit as well.  For my family we can't have a cookout with out baked beans. I tend to make my baked beans sweet.  Mr. C. likes the original baked beans better.

Made a baked potato bar with all the yummy toppings. Went to our local grocery store and bought the biggest baking potatoes I could find.  Our normal side is potato salad but I wanted baked potatoes instead.

Trying to get everything organized and realized I did not put down a plastic tablecloth. It just seems more colorful when I use a tablecloth. I should have taken a picture when I had everything set up correctly.
We sure like to grill out every chance we get.  Plus having some of the kids and grandchildren over is the highlight of our day.
I am a little sad to see summer draw to a close.  I don't feel like I got to do much fun summer events.  Am going to try to get out more during the fall.
Everyone what is something your looking forward to this fall?  I think I am going to try to bake a homemade apple pie!

Crow boy's

Lane and Landon came over today

Landon is growing up so fast. He is starting to hold himself up much better. Being a preemie baby he is way behind where he should be at this point.  Hopefully with us working with him it will help him develop his muscle tone and get stronger.
These boys have been the saving grace for Papa.  Watching him with these boys makes my heart so happy.  Papa needed something in his life to keep him occupied. Am sure some days Papa is extremely tired from watching the boys.  Lane stays super busy.

Brooks

Jessica brought Brooks to Nana and Papa's around noon. He hasn't spent a lot of time at our house so he still is unsure about what he is doing with us.  He is very chill and doesn't seem to get into a lot of stuff. Although we do try to be baby/infant safe at our house.
His favorite toys are blocks and trucks and of course balls.  He doesn't watch TV much but every now and then he will glimpse at the television.  He doesn't seem to mind entertaining himself.  Although I did get down on the floor and play with the farm set and animals.   Figured I needed to get on his level.
What I think I need is more boy toys in my house.  I am looking at Walmart and Amazon for more building blocks and maybe a dump truck to put blocks into for the toddler boys.  I also need more farm animals as well.
Was nice to get Brooks for around 4ish hours. Gave Jessica time to go buy groceries and do a little cleaning at home.  She is having a little girl either in October/November. On top of that Blake is working out of time.  I know her parents watch and help Jessica quite a bit.  Figured I needed to extend a helping hand as well. Especially with the kids growing up so fast.
Keeping the smalls make me so incredibly happy.  We are totally blessed.

Garage Sale 2022

Some of the items I had for the garage sale.

Random items I found thru out the house to declutter.

Cute picture just didn't have room to put it up.

A few arts and crafts that I no longer need or plan on using.
I hadn't had a garage sale in years.  This one was a bit of a bust but still made nearly $100.00. So feel like that was okay for not planning for the sale in advance. Everything I took out of the house is remaining out of house. As soon as the sale was over at noon we loaded up everything in Jeep. Will be taking to Goodwill after work Monday.  Which gives me a great starting place to continue my declutter mission.
I took 3 large bags and a large tote of clothes to my cousin Brenda's house.  Am sure she will pass them to others to wear.  It felt good to get stuff moved out of the house.  I really need to try to declutter more items every week.
This garage sale wasn't a huge money maker that is for sure.  But hey it got me off my butt to get things cleared out of the house. I highly doubt that I will ever do another garage sale at my house.

Angel's 8th Birthday

Happy Birthday sweet girl Angel
Angel is really into Barbie dolls. Sure hope she enjoys the boat and doll we got her. I also picked up a cute shirt and a package of socks , candy and a lol surprise ball..  I also took paper products.

Was totally surprised to see my cousin Jessica and her family.

Clifford is going thru Angel's presents to see what he wants to play with once home! He kept wanting to take the Barbie boat out and play with it at the splash pad.

Had to have a picture of Aaron, Wesley and Michelle's grandpa. Wesley wasn't a big fan of the splash pad so didn't patriciate in that activity.

Brooks and Kyndall

Kyndall is at our house a lot so she thinks she is the boss.  We had to really watch her as she wanted everything Brooks was playing with. She did not want to share until papa (Mr. C) was like Kyndall we will be sharing with Brooks today.  She doesn't like it when papa talks to her in his deep voice.

They both enjoyed the toddle chairs I have for the kids.  This little cart has been

Brooks is as cute as they come.  He sure reminds me of his daddy Blake. filled my heart to get to keep him for a few hours today!

I try to remeber to do a selfie with my grandchildren.  Not sure what I am thinking in this photo. I do not look thrilled at this point.  Even thou I was extremely happy to have these 2 kiddo's with me.

Papa loving on Brooks.  Brooks and papa had a great day. Brooks taken to the guys.  I know that is from his daddy and his other Grandpa John
We are so blessed to have our grandchildren.  For one I didn't think I was ever going to be at this place at being a nana.  Just really wasn't in my thoughts when I was younger.  Funny how God knows your heart and fills it up with grandchildren and daughter in laws and a son in law.

Happy 4th of July!

Lane and I getting ready for our fireworks

Brody's Family

Independence Day is one of my favorite holiday.  Am thankful to Brody and Savannah for coming out and doing our small fireworks for us.  Lane wasn't a big fan of the fireworks this year.  Not sure if he was scared of the sounds or the flashing fireworks.  We all was tired at end of night.

4th of July lunch at work.

I overloaded my plate with lots of goodies.  The macaronni salad's was my favorite of all time. I know Cindy H made one of them and it so reminded me of my mom's. Was so very good.

We all pulled together to make a fun feast today!

Do like how they did add tablecloths to tables. So it brightens up the lunchroom for us workers.

I felt like this was one of the best potlucks we had in a few years. seemed like most everyone bought something to add to the lunch.  Working in a healthy workplace says everything! Am grateful for all my coworkers.

Kyndall Mae

Kyndall Mae is growing up so fast!  I love this little bench.  In my mind I was going to keep it decorated with cute items. Unfortunately our neighbor's dogs kept dragging my stuff all over the  country side.  So Kyndall and I use it as our photo bench. I do need to update my big wreath.  I have had it for years.

I absolutely believe the most rewarding joys of life is grandchildren..
For me being a grandma to Kyndall has filled my heart with joy and love. Kyndall is remarkable and a delight to be around.
At nana and papa's house Ms. Kyndall tells us what she wants to do.  Every now and then papa will tell her no and she turns the water works on not realizing that probably isn't going to help her much.  She can be a bit dramatic at 3 years old.
