Alisha & Jonathan's wedding shower

Alisha and Jonathan's wedding shower was so much fun.  The played the The Newlywed game and opened up gifts.  It was coffee and donuts which was interesting to me.  This was the first shower that I have attended that was the donut themed.  They had a great shower.  So blessed to have these two in our lives.  Can't wait to watch them grow as a young married couple.  They truly balance out each other. You can see the love they have for each other.  

 

54th Birthday goodies

Mellissa & Kyndall bought me some perfect gifts. 

Every year I am blessed with lots of love.  My family and friends are my life. Just to be acknowledged on my birthday is so special.  All 3 of my son's and spouses did a great job on picking out items that I like or needed.  

It seems like the birthday's are coming faster and faster every year.  Truth be known I really didn't think that I would be alive at this point in my life.  I sure pray that I have many more birthdays headed my way!

Who doesn't love a good birthday party at the skating rink?  Logan always has the best birthday parties.   I can't believe he is already 10 years old.  I thought I had taken more pictures so am a little disappointed with not having more of the grandchildren.

Love these pictures of Kyndall Mae.   She sure is a good baby.  I love her to the moon and back.  She is having a ball with her plastic Easter eggs.

Kyndall Mae loves to go to her cousin Clifford's house for play time.

She plays and plays so very hard with Clifford.  Love watching them interact with each other. I don't think that Clifford knows she runs the show.  He tends to give into her wishes every single time. If she wants a toy he is playing with BAM she ends up with it one way or another.

This little bundle of joy holds the key to my heart.  He looks so much like his daddy did at that age. Brooks is gonna be a looker for sure!

Budget workbook

This budget workbook looks fairly easy for me to keep updated. 

I really like the layout of this workbook.  I really am working on my budget each paycheck.  I know I spend way to much money on eating out and at the Dollar Tree.  I have to start saving money for our Honeymoon to Branson Missouri. 

Figured this workbook would give me a visual on where my money is going every single day.  I am a spender.  As I get older I do think about retiring all the time.  At this point I do not have one red cent put away for my future.  I am fully aware that one day like is great and the next it will throw a curve ball.  I am going to be working on a $1000.00 emergency fund.  

Any tips or tricks on how to get smarter about money?  I will take any and help on how to save money for my long term goals.
