Aaron's Baccalaureate

I am so proud of Aaron. He will be graduating Friday night!!! He has learning disability's and hearing loss so making it thru school has been a huge struggle for him.

Cleaning my craft room

So last night I deceided to start cleaning out my craft room. Was going to take EVERYTHING to goodwill except for a few craft supplies I use all the time. I am talking to my brother Stacy and says have a garage sale and make some money. We set a date for 2 weeks out and we will have it at his house in Newcastle Oklahoma. I worked on the room last night for 2 hours and didn't make a dent in the clutter at all!! But I have a goal in mind and I am determined to reach it in two weeks. This week is very busy with Aaron graduating so I won't spend much time home. Yesterday I went down to Oh la la which Becky repurposes furniture and always does a great job. I found a cabinet/bookcase piece and will put my craft items in it nicely. Saying that...I won't be able to keep too much clutter using this one item. But I do think it will help me make up my mind on the most important items to keep. I was so surprised at all the new items I came across as I working in that room last night. I guess I had bought items for Christmas or Birthdays and never gave them out. So am putting them in garage sale as well. I have a few big pieces of furniture I want to get rid of as well. I do not plan on posting before pictures because I am so embarrassed of that room. It has been a burden on my shoulders for a long time. Will be so relieved when it is clutter free once again. Blue bout for Prom

Rush Springs Prom is May 10th. I made Alisha and her date their wrislet and bout. I like the way they turned out. I made his pretty funky and I know NO one else will have a bout like his. I am pretty sure that Alisha's wristlet will be unique as well. Although I have had 2 other mom's want me to make their daughter's wristlet similiar to Alisha's. They wil be different colors so not the same. I so enjoy making thses wristlet's and bouts. But after making 150 of them it tends to frazzle my mind on how to do each one different. I try very hard to please each girl and sometimes no matter what you can't please the moma (even if the girl is happy with the wristlet.) That is just part of human nature I do believe.   It's time again for my 4 Things list!! !  I am so enjoying doing this for myself as it seems as if it helps keep me on track.

1.   Tan 3 times this week!  I need some color for my vacation in July to Galveston Texas.

2.   Buy a summer comforter for our bed!! 

3.   Spend 2 hours in my craft room.  It's a mess!

4.   Spend time with my friend Leona..am thinking about us going to Oklahoma city for the day.

Megan in wedding dress

My friend Megan just got married. She made a beautiful bride! I am so proud of her and am glad to call her my friend. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Watkins!!!

This is the pretty light green wristlet I made for a prom this year. I love the color in it! This is the matching boutonniere I made as well. Doing these type of projects is something I really enjoy doing. Today our completion from another flower shop to check out our pretty wristlets. I do find that to be a complement to us. We have made so many wristlets and boutonnieres this prom. So we are doing something right! Everyone have a blessed day!

4 things

I am doing this once again.. I enjoyed trying to stay on top of the goals I made for my self. So here is my 4 goals for this week. 1. Work in 3 Journals at least one hour each!! 2. Dejunk master bedroom! This will be a biggie cause I keep so much stuff in our room. 3. Tan 3 times this week!! 4. Exercise at least twice this week...am trying to get motivated!!
