Today marks 30 years since the Oklahoma City bombing~a moment that forever changed our city, state, and our nation. We honor and remember the 168 lives lost, the survivors, the first responders, and all those impacted by the tragedy.
Timothy McVeigh destroyed so many lives on this day. He was an anti-government extremist. He placed the bomb outside the Alfred P. Murray Federal building.
Today President Clinton came to Oklahoma once again to do a memorial. He has been several times in the past years.
This remains the deadliest act of domestic terrorism in U.S. history. The bomb was 4000 pounds. My heart hurts for all the lives that was lost on this day. As well as so many others that was impacted by this horrible tragedy.
I will continue to remember. Today we pause to honor and remember those affected by the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995.
