Welcome to the family Brooks!! Your so cute and tiny.  My heart is so happy that you are part of my world.  Can't wait to hold you in my arms little guy!

This Nana is over the moon with Brooks arrival.  I know that I am going to enjoy watching him grow up thru the years. I am so thrilled to have Brooks join our family.  Am sure he is going to give his parents a run for their money! Especially if he inherited his daddy’s hardheaded attitude.  Blake was always stubborn and hardheaded. 

Marriage!

 Oh my goodness this has been the most wonderful day of my life.  To finally get married to my best friend/soul mate/ knight in shining armor/ my protector. I honestly do not know where I would have   ended up if Luther had not came into my life. We have shared so much laughter and tears thru the years. Just in case you didn't know we had been together for 17 years. I just love him so much.

Oh my goodness I was so surprised when I got to my cubicle and seen the girls had decorated it for me.  I am not one who cries but it nearly brought me to my knees.  I so love my co workers.

I sure enjoy our Sunday outings. I don't have adult beverages very often but this one wasn't my favorite one at all.  For the life of me I can't even remember the name of this drink.  Lunch was great as always.  Then we went and did some shopping.  The perfect girls day out!!

Love that the grandbabies are still okay with getting snuggles from me. Being a grandma has been wonderful.  I do feel completed with having them in my life. 

Wish I knew what Kyndall was thinking!  That look is something else.  Had a great afternoon  hanging out with the family.  

In case your wondering where is Wesley he was at his grandpa's out at the lake.  He enjoys being with him and playing with the animals.

Happy Halloween everyone! 

Who can resist our trick or treaters in their cute or spooky outfits?  Unfortunately due to us being in shut down mode due to Covid, we may miss out on seeing our regular children at our door.  Although I did go ahead and buy candy just in case a few shows up at our door.  Our porch light is on and so far not one trick or treater has came knocking.  I was so afraid of that happening tonight.  

I have Coraline playing on TV.  I liked that movie and bought the dvd so I can watch it anytime I choose.  I’m not a big fan of scary movies, just ask Mr. C.  But every now and then I will watch a dark and spooky movie.

Fall is here!

 

I am looking forward to fall.  

I am embracing fall with open arms! The crisp air & vibrant foliage bring me so much joy. The cozy atmosphere of fall has to be my favorite, and it inspires me to get creative in the kitchen. As the temperature drops, I delight in whipping up delicious meals and baked treats that warm the heart and soul. 

During week nights we tend to make casseroles, use the crockpot or make sheet pan dinners. I am all about one pot meals. The clean up is quick and easy.
