Brooks 1st Easter

This little bundle of joy holds the key to my heart.  He looks so much like his daddy did at that age. Brooks is gonna be a looker for sure!

This Grandma is one happy lady! My heart is so happy with this little bundle of love.  

 

Budget workbook

This budget workbook looks fairly easy for me to keep updated. 

I really like the layout of this workbook.  I really am working on my budget each paycheck.  I know I spend way to much money on eating out and at the Dollar Tree.  I have to start saving money for our Honeymoon to Branson Missouri. 

Figured this workbook would give me a visual on where my money is going every single day.  I am a spender.  As I get older I do think about retiring all the time.  At this point I do not have one red cent put away for my future.  I am fully aware that one day like is great and the next it will throw a curve ball.  I am going to be working on a $1000.00 emergency fund.  

Any tips or tricks on how to get smarter about money?  I will take any and help on how to save money for my long term goals.  

 

Great Cook out weather

The weather was beautiful today. Luther wanted to have a cook out and of course I said absolutely! Was nice that Alisha and Jonathan came over from Ada, Ok. Brody and Savannah and Lane joined us. Then Luther's nephew Bubba and niece Raylee stopped by.  It was a day filled with love and laughter. I do know that I got lots of baby Lane snuggles.  Lane is so tiny and precious.  

Over all the day went by fairly fast. We ate rib eye steaks, hamburgers, hot links, smoked sausage. Also on the menu was baked beans, potato  salad, jalapeno poppers baked potatoes and banana pudding. Lots of yummy food was prepared. 

Days that are filled with family members is something to enjoy. I realize that as I get older my time here on Earth is getting shorter each year. I want to make memories with  all family members is so important.

Baby Brooks

GiGi had to go see baby Brooks. I know he was wanting some grandma time with me!  He is so darn handsome.  He really is a mini Blake.  I am loving how much Blake and Jessica love this baby. I can't wait to see Brooks develop his personality. If he is anything like his daddy he will be going non~stop.

Brooks is growing too fast!

Brooks is growing way so fast.  Look at gorgeous eyes.  They are so dark and mysterious.  He is absolutely beautiful. He has really been a good baby.

Looking at Brooks, makes me wonder what he is thinking. His eyes are so bright and thoughtful.

The best part of being a grandma is the selfies I take with the grandchildren.  I so enjoy getting to hold and love on these babies.  They do grow up so fast.  Watching their little personalities shine makes my day.  Living my best life as a grandma. 

Christmas is going to be such a joy with the 2 newest grandson's.  Can't wait to see them playing with their cousins. It's going to be so much fun at holidays. 

 

Weekend at grandparent's

Kyndall sure is growing so fast.  Ms. Princess does believe that her grumpy is her world. Love watching their interactions with each other. 

Kyndall will be 2 years old in May. Time has been flying by for me. This year I am focusing on keeping the grandchildren more.  Wanting to make memories with each one of them. 

When I watch Kyndall I do find myself getting a little teary eyed. Wishing her father hadn't messed up and ended up in trouble.  I do pray that each and every day when he gets out that he makes Kyndall his main priority and doesn't loose another precious moment with her. 

I must say how proud I am of Mellissa. This young mother has stepped up and became a mom that Kyndall deserves.  Love how cute she dresses Ms. Princess.  She takes such good care of this baby girl.

 

Baby Lane

Lane is such a cutie. He looks a lot like his daddy.  I can't wait till they come home from the hospital so I can hold this baby.  He is premature but bet he will get busy and grow into his own skin. 

What a blessing to have Lane with with us.  I know his grandpa Luther can't wait to hold and love on this tiny fellow.  

We are so blessed to have 2 grandson's within 24 hours.  Congratulations to Brody and Savannah!
