Snacks for grandkids

Snacks are so important to have at nana and papa’s house.  We were out of so many foods.   So went on lunch hour to buy a few items to get us thru the weekend.  I laughed at myself as I was grabbing what I knew we needed for the kids.  Because I felt like my inner fat kid was high fiving at all the sugar and carbs in this cart.  Although the zero coke is for me for the weekend. I am not sure if I will like the flavor but will give it a try.  If I find I don’t like it I will leave in our break room.  So it doesn’t go to waste.

I also picked up 127 photos I had printed.  Am needing to work on deleting photos off my phone.  Then start putting the photos in a photo album.  I love photos.   Normally when I take the pictures home I throw them in a drawer with other pictures and phot books.  So this batch is going into a photo book for Luther. 

Today has been a long uneventful day.  Will be picking up,Kyndall after work.  Blake and Jessica are going to a concert.  They currently have guardianship of Kyndall.  Which as soon as Mellisa gets on her feet Kyndall will go back to momma.  

 

Max our newest grandchild.

Max was born at 10:24 am. Weighed 7 lbs and 8 oz long. He already has my heart.

I know baby Max may not be the last grand baby, but am treating him as he will be.  Can't wait to watch him develop into his own personality.  Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would have 10 precious grands.  My heart is full of love.  Am blessed without measure.

I love Mr.C so much. He puts up with all my shenanigans.  He truly is one of a kind.  He makes my life so much better each and every day.  We are living our best life together. 

 

 

Addie’s 1st birthday party

Addie is such a happy little baby.  She scoots and crawls all over the place. She kept us entertained with her sweet smile.  

Kyndall had fun playing with Addie.   She really enjoyed playing with the different toys. We stayed about 2 hours.  We really had a great time.

Kyndall had a great time playing with the other children.  Was glad she was able to come to party with us. I have enjoyed co~grand parenting with Elizabeth and Charles.  It’s just a shame that when the kids were smaller we had lots of bumps along the way. Am glad we are on same page when it comes to our precious grand boys.

The room at Pizza Hut was a good choice for Lane’s party.  The little kids had a small basketball stand they played with as well as other toys.  They ran in circles  around the tables.  Wish I had their energy!

Time sure has a way of making us old fast.  Am so blessed in being able to watch these precious boys grow up.

I really enjoyed our evening with Brody and Savannah at the Mexican restaurant.  This is our favorite restaurant.  It’s close to home about 13 minutes from home.  

 

Kyndall at Nana’s house for weekend

She just had to have a dress on.  She was dressed cute before demanding a dress.  She sure loves her dresses.  I need to keep my eyes open for cute dresses in her size.

So glad to have Kyndall this weekend!  We made a strawberry cake today. We also wrote her daddy.  Mainly she played on “her” tablet.  I did try to keep her busy most of the evening.  Told her we needed to charge her tablet so we can have it at bedtime.  She was a little salty on having to wait to play her games.
