Kyndall’s 1st day at Bray Schools

Am glad Kyndall and Mellissa are back in Oklahoma. She is going to be attending the school her daddy attended.  The school is a small country school.  Her  pre k teacher also taught her daddy.  Mrs. Pass is so sweet and is a good teacher.  Can’t  imagine what Kyndall is thinking coming from a large school going to a small school.  She did enjoy her first day. They went to the library and checked out a book. Her book was about lemonade family.  If I understood correctly.

Mellissa always dresses Kyndall so cute. She makes sure that her hair is cute.  Love how she is teaching her good hygiene skills as well.
I need to look for a few more outfits for Kyndall. I really enjoy buying her cute outfits when I see something super cute.  Just got a cute dress in today for summer.  Seems like I do order her clothes in pink or purple.  Pink is her favorite color currently.

Kirsten & Bryson wedding

Mr and Mrs Hare

My brother Tyler is the officiating the wedding

Congratulations to Kirsten and Bryson

Am so proud of Kirsten. She has grown into a beautiful woman with a heart of gold. Bryson has brought her love and joy.  They are good for each other.  Love looks so good on them.

My plus one is Kyndall Mae.  She had the best time ever. All my nieces came up and talked to her and gave her hugs. Of course she even played with my great nieces that are closer to her age.

One of my beautiful nieces.

The memorial table.  My eyes teared up when I see the picture of my dad. Then the other family members we lost too soon.

The gift and card table.

The gift I put together for the couple.

Grandkids at park

The grandchildren playing at the park.  Our small park at Marlow Ok has been a source of joy for so many children.  It’s called the Hideout due to the Marlow brother’s and their legacy.  The school’s mascot is the Marlow Outlaw.  So lots of cool history in our community.

Clifford, Angel and Max.  Max is going everywhere since he has started walking. The weather was perfect today.  Love the fact that the kiddos are out and running and having fun.

Max is such a cutie pie. He is still trying to find his balance while walking. Pretty soon he will be walking with more confidence.

Max is my youngest grandson.  He enjoys his hugs and cuddles from his siblings.  Angel treats him like he is her baby doll.

My cute Clifford. He is growing up way too fast.  He is talking so much better. He really enjoys playing at the park. He has so much energy and is full of happiness.

This is me!

This is me!  Am so glad to be at work full time.  It goes without saying routine is better for me.  At least I’m sorta smiling here.
Working in a call center isn’t for everyone.  Most days all is good.  Then you get a member who tries their best to belittle you or humiliate you or the normal screaming and cussing at you.  When I get one of these members I tell myself they must be having a horrible day.  I just pray that’s not their normal sourpuss behavior in dealing with others.

Things about me you may not know.  I think I could have been a comedian, especially if I have something funny to say.  That may be coming from the slight beer buzz I get every great once in awhile.  My favorite colors is pink and purple.  I don’t like wearing makeup much.  But always feel better once I have it applied.  I always like getting my full set of nails put on,  then tend not to want to maintain them.  I have been going to Jon for years.  I have a large family.  My mom had 5 siblings and my dad had 8 siblings.  I have cousins out there that I haven’t seen in many years.  Can’t remember a lot of their names.  That’s just shameful but the truth.  Most of my cousins on my dad’s side is way older than me and my brother.  My dad was one of the younger siblings.  I stress eat more than I like.  I enjoy working in my journals for swaps over at swap bot.  I need to do more family activities when they come up.  Sometimes I don’t like walking into an already filled event because I feel like all eyes are on me.  Mostly due to being so overweight.  Am very self conscious about my body deep down.  Death by chocolate will probably apply to me (definitely diabetic but on lower end of scale). Debbie Macomber is my favorite author hands down.
My dream cruise is to see Aruba.  My favorite cruise was seeing Keywest and Nassau.  All my life wanted to see Atlantis and it came true in 2022.  Am booking a cruise for 2025.  Am leaning on going out of Florida.  That way I can save up money and have a decent time.  2023 I did self care which included new eyeglasses,  many trips to dentist, then chiropractor (so many trips and lots of money out of pocket)  well worth it, then shoulder surgery.  2024 will be working on getting out of debt. Especially with not working for over 2 months.  My checks will be short for the next 3 months or so.  I want to start some DIY projects.  Still need to finish my photo canvas prints.  I also want to make a T-shirt quilt out of the boys old school activity shirts.
So there you go, some fun stuff about me.  Thought I would share part of me on a deeper level.  Thanks for reading my blog.  I appreciate each and every one of you.

Solar Eclipse

Was so excited to know we was going to be able to see the Eclipse.  Our director advised us that we could take turns going outside to see it.   Which really surprised me since I work in a call center. I took advantage of it, went outside 3 different times during the eclipse.

My photos did not do the eclipse justice.  But am glad I got a few good photos.

Max’s 1st Birthday party

Max and Michelle
Today we are celebrating Max and Wesley’s Birthday.  Max turns 1 and Wesley turns 12.  The party was held at Chucky E. Cheese.

Love this photo of Clifford.  He is such a loving little guy.  He was so glad to see Nana.

Am sure time will fly and he will soon be driving his own motorcycle. Clifford had a great time playing all the games.  I really like how they offer a time limit on games on the play card. I got Kyndall a 60 minute unlimited card for $30.  Trevor, Melissa and Kyndall all used the same card during this time.

Life isn’t complete till these two are giving us the peace sign.  They have done this as long as I can remember.  Trevor and Kyndall are really being around one another.

Kyndall giving her daddy some driving instructions.

Kyndall looks good in this dress that I bought her. So bright and pretty.  Reminds me of Kyndall’s personality.  Love how her momma always makes Kyndall look like a little princess.

Mellissa and Max against Trevor and Kyndall.  Wonder which team got the most points?
Today was a fun day. I really enjoyed seeing some of the grandchildren.

Celebrating early Easter

The baskets we put together for Lane and Landon this year.  We are going to go over to Brody and Savannah’s for Easter dinner tonight.  We are giving the boy their baskets as well.  As Easter Sunday will be busy with lots of family and friends.
Elizabeth and Charles are bringing their baskets for boys as well.  Alisha and Jonathan are coming down from Blanchard Oklahoma as well.

Cute baskets are from Dollar Tree.  Wish I had bought a few more to put up for next year.

Lane and Landon

Savannah and Lane.  Tonight was so much fun.  They boys loved everything in their baskets. Although I think they really liked the shiny blue grass.  They had it all throughout the house.

Lane thought his bunny ears was great.  They were a little big for him but that didn’t matter.  I really thought Landon would play with the bunny more than he did.  Might have been because there was so much to look at in the 3 baskets they got tonight.
Our Easter dinner consisted of Ham, potato salad, baked beans.  We took 2 pizzas, breadsticks and chicken Alfredo pasta as well.  Luther knew the boys would like pizza more than the ham.  The ham was very good.  I wish I had made a green bean casserole to take for a side.  I love green bean casserole as a side with ham.
