Remembering Aunt Kathy

This has to be one of the hardest things ever to say but my sweet, crazy, love able, quirky Aunt Kathy passed today. She was my travel companion, best friend and confidant and she is going to be greatly missed.
This is a picture of her and my cousin Wendy. Am guessing Wendy to be 3 or 4 years old here.  Love looking at memories.

Kathy and I on a cruise.

Aunt Kathy and Aaron. We are in Galveston Texas.

Aunt Kathy, Aunt Connie and Lynn.

Suzanne, Aunt Kathy and I on another cruise.

On a road trip to our cruise out of Mobile Alabama.

Aunt Kathy always humored me by letting me pretend to be a photographer.  Am glad I do have the pictures of us to look back on.  Memories are so important especially as I get older.

Here we are on another cruise.  Am not sure she enjoyed cruising as much as me but she went with me anyways.  Our next cruise that we was planning was going to be to Alaska.

Clifford

Clifford and grandma
I'm so happy to have Clifford along with my other grandchildren in my life!  Just holding this baby in my arms brings me much joy to my
Heart.   Michelle and Aaron gave no ideal how happy they make me.

Clifford!s 1st birthday

I can't even believe that my little grandson is already one year old.  I love how he studies everything and everyone so intensely.  Makes me wonder what he thinks.

Cruise fun

Karen love this place!

Cherrie

I still can't believe I finally got my friend Cherrie to go with me on a cruise.  Going into this cruise I was fully aware that this wasn't her happy spot.  So far we have explored the ship.  We have ate good food and watched the people.
I always enjoy the piano bar on every ship I get on.  Seem to take many photos in this area before it opens.  Cherrie probably didn't have a clue that on cruises my inner photographer comes out.  Although when I get home I'm like I wish I had taken more pictures.
So very glad to be on a cruise this year!

Carnival Dream room 9201

Out little hallway into room.

Our vanity area

Not sure why the bathroom pictures turned out greenish.

Plenty of closet space.  Wish I had taken more pictures of our room.

Loved our room.  It was very spacious on deck 9.  We were at the very front of the ship.  Which means we did a lot of walking.  Our dining room was at the back of the ship on deck 3.  I hope to always get this type of room.
It had a window.but was considered an interior room.  When Cherrie seen the interior rooms she was like wow this is a big room.  Very worth the money!
This was Cherrie’s first time to cruise. Not sure if she is a fan or not but glad she went with me.  Overall the cruise was good.
