Addie’s 1st birthday party

Sabrina and Addie getting ready to do her smash cake.   We feel like grandparents to Addie and Avery.  They love to come to our house and visit us. 

Addie is such a happy little baby.  She scoots and crawls all over the place. She kept us entertained with her sweet smile.  

Kyndall had fun playing with Addie.   She really enjoyed playing with the different toys. We stayed about 2 hours.  We really had a great time.

Kyndall had a great time playing with the other children.  Was glad she was able to come to party with us. I have enjoyed co~grand parenting with Elizabeth and Charles.  It’s just a shame that when the kids were smaller we had lots of bumps along the way. Am glad we are on same page when it comes to our precious grand boys.

The room at Pizza Hut was a good choice for Lane’s party.  The little kids had a small basketball stand they played with as well as other toys.  They ran in circles  around the tables.  Wish I had their energy!

Time sure has a way of making us old fast.  Am so blessed in being able to watch these precious boys grow up.

I really enjoyed our evening with Brody and Savannah at the Mexican restaurant.  This is our favorite restaurant.  It’s close to home about 13 minutes from home.  

 

Kyndall at Nana’s house for weekend

She just had to have a dress on.  She was dressed cute before demanding a dress.  She sure loves her dresses.  I need to keep my eyes open for cute dresses in her size.

So glad to have Kyndall this weekend!  We made a strawberry cake today. We also wrote her daddy.  Mainly she played on “her” tablet.  I did try to keep her busy most of the evening.  Told her we needed to charge her tablet so we can have it at bedtime.  She was a little salty on having to wait to play her games.

Brooks wasn’t sure what was going on with Nana at his house without his mom and daddy.He let me play with his trucks and such.

Kyndall and Brooks play well together.  Am glad she doesn’t try to take his toys away from him.

Landon’s 1st birthday

I only thought time flew by with my own boys.  Geez these grandchildren are growing up much faster it seems.  Maybe it’s due to me being 55 years of age.  Burt celebrations are so much fun.  Big brother Lane ran around enjoying himself.  He was the center of attention with his funny antics.

Listening to the kids laugh and play brings joy to my heart. Can’t wait till Landon gets a bit bigger so he can run and play.

Hope Landon’s day was enjoyed by everyone who attended. Happy 1st birthday grandpa and nana love you much❤️

 

Aaron had motorcycle wreck

The one call no parent wants to get no matter the age.  Michelle called and let me know Aaron was going to hospital.  He had been hit by a car.  The car never stopped and checked on Aaron.  Aaron was going about 35 mph when the car came over into his lane. 

Good news is Aaron is one tough guy.  His shoulder bone is fractured. They did many test and X-rays. 

Say a prayer for Aaron that he has a speedy recovery.  Also I’m putting out in universe that he doesn’t buy another motorcycle for awhile.

While in Duncan Ok I had to have a Mocha frappe with the works.  They are my favorite drink from Virginian.
