Aaron's 23rd Birthday

Happy birthday to my middle son.  I am so proud of him!

I know Aaron is busy but he made sure to come by after work to see me on his 23rd birthday.  He makes me very happy! Am so excited that he is going to have a baby Grigsby come December.

Hot! Hot! In Okla

Today it has reached 107 degrees in Oklahoma.  They say the heat dome is over us.  I truly believe it! I ventured out to my vehicle and the heat took my breath away.  So the rest of the day I’m going to stay under the ac and write letters.
My goal is to write 4 letters today.  I miss getting letters every day in the mail. So far I have got Cheryl N, Jenn B, Amy Beth S letters wrote.  That makes me happy.  I do want to get Joni, Karen G, Shelly C and Karyn G letters wrote asap.   I’m also trying to decorate the envelopes a little as well.
Earlier today I decorated my Passion Planner.  I found enough stickers in my stash to decorate two weeks.  I really would like to order stickers from Etsy but am trying to be on a no spend budget.  Then I tell my self I can spend $10.00 but that doesn’t get you a whole of stickers.   I would end up with two decorative sheets of stickers.  I need to find some kits on sale with cheap shipping.
Everyone have a great day and stay cool!

Trevor in Hospital

My poor baby boy Trevor is in the hospital.  He ended up staying for a week.  He was really sick and very lucky to still be with us.

Mellissa and Trevor.  She will not like that I posted this photo of her with no makeup!

Kara and Laiklyn

Baby Laiklyn not happy at all. She wants her moma and a bottle!

Trevor was severely dehydrated and he went down quick,  He couldn't even walk at all. Sure am glad he got great help at Duncan Regional Hospital.  His total bill was for 50,000.  Am so proud he had insurance.

Memorial Day Weekend

Here in Oklahoma the weather has been beautiful.  It’s in the lower 90’s with a nice breeze.  Mr. C has been outside most of the day.  Brody has been a huge help with grilling.  As always we ended up grilling way too much.  Which should mean leftovers for my lunches this coming week.

This weekend I have missed my loved ones.  Lots of great memories floating around in my mind of my parents.  Miss the family gatherings when mom and Grandma Pearl were here with us.  Each and everyday I miss the wisdom that mom and dad shared with me.

My new job is going okay.  I really am going to love it once I learn more about it.  It’s a learning curve for sure. No comparison to the flower shop at all.  Love the bi-weekly check so I know what my pay is each payday.  Most important I have health coverage.  At my age healthcare is critical.  It only takes a second for a accident to happen.

Will enjoy a paid day off tomorrow!  Wow who doesn’t like being paid to stay home? I’m over here doing the happy dance!  I feel like my new career is opening new doors for me.   Although in all reality I must say I need to give praise to God.  He is the one who has made all things possible.

51ST Birthday!!

My set up for my birthday party at LegalShield!  I was so glad to be here on my birthday. God answers prayers.  I so wanted a job with benefits.  Am very grateful to be here.

I made this cake for the house so we could celebrate my birthday together. Mr. C isn't much for chocolate but Brody and I are huge chocolate cake eaters.

Happy Birthday to me!!!!!

Do I feel like I am 51 years old? No not really.  Everyday I am blessed to be living each and every day.  I have had a great life and made some awesome friends.  I can not even express how blessed I have been.  My boys and bonus children and Mr. C complete me.

The boy's aunt and uncles and cousins on their dad's side.

The boys dad and siblings when they were kiddo's.
I hate that Mark died and left me with 3 young boys.  These boys needed their dad.  I wish that he could see the boys today.  I think he would be proud of how they have turned out.  Trevor has quite a few of Mark's characteristics.  Aaron has a lot of his dad's facial expressions.
