Plenty of closet space.  Wish I had taken more pictures of our room. 

 Loved our room.  It was very spacious on deck 9.  We were at the very front of the ship.  Which means we did a lot of walking.  Our dining room was at the back of the ship on deck 3.  I hope to always get this type of room.
It had a window.but was considered an interior room.  When Cherrie seen the interior rooms she was like wow this is a big room.  Very worth the money!

This was Cherrie’s first time to cruise. Not sure if she is a fan or not but glad she went with me.  Overall the cruise was good. 

Starting Naturally Slim

Day one

I am starting the Naturally slim Program this week.  So I decided to go to my Dr.   I wanted to get weighed and measured.  It was a real eye opener.  I know that I am big...but seeing the numbers made it all so real.   

What I really am working on this week is no soda pop's.  Which will be the hardest part of this program.  I also am going to try just cutting down on amount of food I am eating.  I also am continuing to walk each day.  Some days it more than others.  But I am trying to get my exercise in each week.  Haven't done that in years.  

Need to get my blood pressure under control.  It is 165/112.  Yikes!!

This photo is four years old.  But I will always love this picture of us together.  It is probably the only picture of all of us together.  How crazy is that?   I am not sure why we didn't take more pictures thru the years.   I can almost guarantee that there will never be a picture of all of us together. 

The main reason is Stacy will never come back to Oklahoma.  He is having health and legal issues. If I am ever going to see him again  I need to plan a trip to El Paso Texas.  It is around 10 hours away.  Maybe I can plan a long weekend to see him this summer.  Trying to figure out if it is cheaper to drive or fly.  Would have more time if I fly to to see him.

With a heavy heart my Aunt Ginger passed today.  She has been in bad health for awhile.  Aunt Kathy and I was planning a trip to see her in May.  Aunt Ginger was full of life.  She loved to joke around and have fun.  Every single trip to visit with her she always shares great memories with me.  

Aunt Ginger was always offering us Little Debbie's snack foods.   In fact when she passed she had so many boxes of assorted snacks that it was almost comical.  

I know she is no longer in pain.  Fly high sweet angel your going to be missed greatly!!!

A perfect evening with Aaron and his family!  We met at Applebee's in Duncan Okla around 4pm. Was very nice to spend time with his family.  I need to be more involved with my boys and their families.  

Wesley was sick so he stayed with his great grandparents.  Hope that next time we can get all the family to go eat with us.  Truth be known I wouldn't mind taking them to McDonald's or Braums 

so the little kids can play on the playground.  I'm not sure if Aaron and Michelle take the time to let them run and play at either fast food place. so that would be a treat for the kiddo's.  Maybe I should take Angel and Wesley for a afternoon to give the parents a break.

It was time to go see the grandchildren.  They are so cute and lovable.  I am very fortunate to have these kiddo's in my life.  They have so much energy that a visit with them wears me out. Just kidding.  

I am trying to spend more time with my family.  It is so hard to take time out of my already busy schedule.  But I don't want them not knowing me or thinking I don't care about them.  So every week I am going to try to see all three sons and their family's.  That is my personal goal for this year. 

New Orleans bound!!

Madri Gras here we come!! I am so excited!!!
Kathy and I are headed to Shreveport tonight.  She will pick me up at 7:15pm from Legal Shield and we will head toward La.   We will stay at the Horseshoe Casino and Resort.  It's my absolutely favorite place to stay when in Shreveport.

We will get up early and head to New Orleans.  We are going to get on the Creole Queen at 1:30 pm.  We are taking the historic cruise.   We are headed to Chalmette Battlefield.  That should be lots of fun.  I am extremely excited about our trip to New Orleans!!!
