Brooks and Kyndall

Kyndall is at our house a lot so she thinks she is the boss.  We had to really watch her as she wanted everything Brooks was playing with. She did not want to share until papa (Mr. C) was like Kyndall we will be sharing with Brooks today.  She doesn't like it when papa talks to her in his deep voice.

They both enjoyed the toddle chairs I have for the kids.  This little cart has been

Brooks is as cute as they come.  He sure reminds me of his daddy Blake. filled my heart to get to keep him for a few hours today!

I try to remeber to do a selfie with my grandchildren.  Not sure what I am thinking in this photo. I do not look thrilled at this point.  Even thou I was extremely happy to have these 2 kiddo's with me.

Papa loving on Brooks.  Brooks and papa had a great day. Brooks taken to the guys.  I know that is from his daddy and his other Grandpa John
We are so blessed to have our grandchildren.  For one I didn't think I was ever going to be at this place at being a nana.  Just really wasn't in my thoughts when I was younger.  Funny how God knows your heart and fills it up with grandchildren and daughter in laws and a son in law.

Happy 4th of July!

Lane and I getting ready for our fireworks

Brody's Family

Independence Day is one of my favorite holiday.  Am thankful to Brody and Savannah for coming out and doing our small fireworks for us.  Lane wasn't a big fan of the fireworks this year.  Not sure if he was scared of the sounds or the flashing fireworks.  We all was tired at end of night.

4th of July lunch at work.

I overloaded my plate with lots of goodies.  The macaronni salad's was my favorite of all time. I know Cindy H made one of them and it so reminded me of my mom's. Was so very good.

We all pulled together to make a fun feast today!

Do like how they did add tablecloths to tables. So it brightens up the lunchroom for us workers.

I felt like this was one of the best potlucks we had in a few years. seemed like most everyone bought something to add to the lunch.  Working in a healthy workplace says everything! Am grateful for all my coworkers.

Kyndall Mae

Kyndall Mae is growing up so fast!  I love this little bench.  In my mind I was going to keep it decorated with cute items. Unfortunately our neighbor's dogs kept dragging my stuff all over the  country side.  So Kyndall and I use it as our photo bench. I do need to update my big wreath.  I have had it for years.

I absolutely believe the most rewarding joys of life is grandchildren..
For me being a grandma to Kyndall has filled my heart with joy and love. Kyndall is remarkable and a delight to be around.
At nana and papa's house Ms. Kyndall tells us what she wants to do.  Every now and then papa will tell her no and she turns the water works on not realizing that probably isn't going to help her much.  She can be a bit dramatic at 3 years old.

Saturday at Papa and Nana's house

Our sweet grandson Landon

Lane loves the ball pit!

Lately we have been watching the grandsons on alternating Saturday's.  Getting time with these precious boys.  Lane and I enjoy the building blocks.  Then he and I will drum on the end table driving papa nearly crazy.
It's so different than having your own children.  Love spoiling our precious grandchildren.
I really need to find more boy trucks and toys for the house.  I have accumulated lots of girl toys. Am thinking this summer I will start to do some garage sales again.  It's been forever since I have done any garage sales.  For one I do have plenty of my own stuff.  But it would be nice to find some great toys at a reasonable cost.
Have you ever looked at your
GRANDKIDS
and had your heart filled with
so much love and pride that it
Brought
tears to your eyes?

This quote hit me so hard!  I feel this every single time I see one of my grandchildren.  We are so blessed with our children and grandchildren.

My niece Kirsten is graduating!

Kirsten at her Senior Tea.

I love her sassy attitude she has going on!

Bryson and Kirsten are so cute together!

This girl has always had my heart.  When she was little I made Allison, Kara and her quilts.  She said to me Aunt Sissy I need another quilt please.  Yes of course I made her another quilt.  That has been many years ago.
Look out world I can't wait to see what all is in store for my beautiful, sweet, generous niece has in store.  I know she is going to do great things! My heart is so happy for who Kirsten has become.
Congratulations Senior 2022!!

County living

Living out in the country can be peaceful and very calming.  I enjoy seeing the ducks and turkeys and such come around our yard.

In the evenings I enjoy sitting under the carport and watching the animals wonder about. They belong to our neighbor. Although I think they believe they live on our land.

Just living is not enough...one must have sunshine, freedom, and some animals to make one's life complete!

I will never doubt that God has gotten me through every hard moment in my life. God definitely knew what  he was doing when he placed me in the country. I have enjoyed how calming it is to be out here with neighbors I know by name.  I can see God's blessings everywhere.
